This meetup is for anyone intrigued by the possibilities of creating printable ceramic objects without using WYSIWYG design software or a slicer. Instead, the shapes are created by writing Python code. Xavier will walk you through some example scripts that show the basic building blocks for generating forms. He will also share tips on how to assess whether a shape is likely to print well in clay (though there’s always a bit of luck involved).

The meetup starts with a demonstration of the printer. A basic familiarity with Python is recommended. Some math will be used to explain how to create interesting shapes.
